The Atlanta office opened in 2008 as the firm's first office outside of California. Located near the Georgia State Capitol in downtown Atlanta, the office expanded the firm's geographic reach into the Southeast and provided a strategic base for the firm's growing False Claims Act practice. The Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals sits in Atlanta and hears appeals from federal district courts in Georgia, Florida, and Alabama, making it a central forum for False Claims Act cases involving healthcare providers, defense contractors, and other federal program participants across the region.
The Atlanta office is the operational center of the firm's Eleventh Circuit False Claims Act practice and supports commercial litigation across the Southeast. Office Managing Partner Jessica Pearson joined the firm from a New York litigation practice in 2008 to lead the office's establishment. The Atlanta team handles qui tam representation in healthcare fraud, defense contracting fraud, and grant fraud matters concentrated in the Southeast, along with commercial litigation for clients across Georgia, Florida, Alabama, and the broader region.
