Career
Robert Zane joined Holdsworth & Inkwell in 2015 after thirty-eight years of distinguished practice in New York, including twenty-two as managing partner of a preeminent corporate litigation firm. He served as senior partner in the firm's Commercial Litigation practice until his retirement in 2022 and continues to consult on complex matters as Retired Partner.
Commercial Litigation Practice
His career has spanned essentially every category of high-stakes commercial disputes: bet-the-company contract disputes, contested M&A litigation, securities matters, and international arbitrations. He has tried matters in eleven states and arbitrated disputes in seven countries. He has been continuously ranked in Meridian Legal Register for thirty-one years.
Continued Role
Robert remains active in the firm's mentorship of junior associates and continues to consult on the most complex commercial matters. He is the father of Rachel Zane, an associate in the Atlanta office.
